If I had to be in a leadership position I would prefer the Democratic leadership style. “The democratic leader encourage participation in decisions, works with employees to determine what to do, and does not closely supervise employees.” (Chpt. 3 pg. 70) I believe this is an efficient and effective way to go with dealing with any organization because it lets your employees be engaged. And when your employees can bring their ideas and work together you can be getting greater result than just one idea and plan to the table. Not that there is nothing wrong with the autocratic way but work can get pretty bland and routine when your supervisor always make the decisions, tell employees what to do, and closely supervise workers.
